New Reception Area for Rainbows Children’s Hospice
Starting at the beginning of January 2017, we’re working on a brand new construction project for one of Leicestershire’s well-loved charities – Rainbows – the East Midlands’ Hospice for children and young people, in Lark Rise in Loughborough.
Rainbows is an independent local charity. Children and young people with life limiting and life threatening conditions go to the hospice for specialist hospice respite stays, symptom management, palliative and end of life care.
Our project involves refurbishing the redesigned reception are and extending the porch, creating a new entrance area for the main Rainbows Hospice building. We have also completed a pathway to help improve access to the premises.
Smallman have just completed a pathway at Rainbows Children’s Hospice in Loughborough. This pathway will improve access to the premises. In addition, space for bike storage has been created. This has been a successful project for a valued client of Smallman & Son Ltd.
As a company, Smallman and Son are keen supporters of Rainbows and we’ve attended many fund raising events over the years, including the most recent Grand Charity Ball at London’s Dorchester Hotel.
We’re delighted to be working with the Rainbows team on the new reception project.
On behalf of everyone at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, I would like to thank Smallman and Son for supporting Rainbows. The new reception will be a welcoming and much bigger space for our children, young people and their families.
The first time they walk through our doors is often so tough for our families. We want them to know they have come to a place that is different. A place that is bright, warm and welcoming. A place where they know memories will be made and their children will receive the best care.
The support of companies like Smallman and Son enables us to do this and we are very grateful. We are delighted to be working together.
