RCC Rural Achievement Awards 2018/19

The Rural Community Council is a charity based in Leicestershire and Rutland that focuses on representing and supporting rural communities. The RCC has over 90 years’ experience completing this inspirational work.

Each year, the RCC holds the Rural Achievement Awards showcasing the best people, places, facilities, activities, businesses, charities and groups across Leicestershire and Rutland.

Smallman & Son have been proud sponsors of the RCC Rural Achievement Awards since 2017. In 2017, we sponsored the Best Community Engagement Award which was awarded to ONE Kegworth in a ceremony hosted at the King Power Stadium.

In 2018 and 2019, we sponsored the Unsung Hero Award which was won by Steward Shephard in 2018 and by Joyce Bird in 2019. Both of these events were hosted at Winstanley House, Leicester.

We look forward to continuing to support the RCC and sponsoring their 2020 award ceremony. The RCC does such important work for our local community in Leicestershire and Rutland and we are honoured to continue our support of their work.
