Refurbished Arts Centre To Open In New Walk

As the refurbishment project at Soft Touch Arts Centre progresses, the site received a VIP guest recently. The Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Lady Gretton, came along as The Queen’s representative for Leicestershire.
Lady Gretton met our Head of Business Development, Alex Kowalczuk, for a tour of the project which will be Leicester’s first youth arts and heritage centre. It will provide spaces for creative projects including art and crafts, music, fashion, cooking, film, photography and the performing arts.
We have been working on the project since September 2014 and are pleased to say that the project is nearing completion.
